The Bitcoin ( BTC-USD ) halving event has passed, and with it comes a renewed interest in blockchain technology and its potential for transforming various industries. As the cryptocurrency market continues to evolve, savvy investors are looking beyond just Bitcoin and exploring opportunities in companies that are leveraging blockchain technology to disrupt traditional business models. Despite the fears around “higher for longer” interest rates, geopolitical instabilities and a stock market sell-off, I am firmly bullish on Bitcoin’s short-term future. The coin has already made a run up to $66,000 at the time of writing over the past few days, and as ETF trading goes into full swing this week, I believe that those numbers could approach the $70,000 mark. It should be noted that Bitcoin was overvalued based on several momentum indicators such as the Relative Strength Index ( RSI ) before the sell-off occurred this month. In order for it to maintain such a high price velocity, an extremely bullish backdrop would have been needed.
The company from ex-Coinbase employees aims to help developers build better blockchain wallets.
The post Breaking News: Coinbase Announces a New Altcoin Listing – Big Surprise appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com . Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase will list the KARRAT altcoin, according to its official statement. According to the official statement made by Coinbase, Karrat (KARRAT) will be supported on the Ethereum network. A specific date was not given for purchases and sales, and it was reported that the token would be opened for transactions once liquidity conditions were met. Coinbase has chosen to list the KARRAT altcoin with the “experimental” label. This means that the exchange management has warned that the altcoin in question may have high volatility. The fact that KARRAT has just started to be listed may cause scammers to claim to have sold this token before listing. Therefore, it is necessary to warn users to make transactions only through the official token contract address or centralized exchanges. However, Kucoin and Gateio, another major cryptocurrency exchange, listed KARRAT a few days ago. *This is not investment advice.
To borrow from an old Benjamin Graham/Warren Buffett concept, the market is a weighing machine in the long term. Coinbase (NASDAQ: COIN ) certainly has value as an exchange for popular cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin ( BTC-USD ). However, the market’s weighing machine is likely to send Coinbase stock lower as its valuation is too hefty right now. The market’s short-term voting machine prompted a rally in Coinbase stock for a while. That happened, to a certain extent, because of the hype surrounding recently approved spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds. Now that the hype is fading, however, it’s time to be cautious and take a sobering look at Coinbase’s excessively high valuation multiple. Coinbase Rode on Bitcoin’s Coattails I hate to say I told you so. Yet, I can’t help but to point out that Coinbase stock fell from $265 to $218 after I encouraged investors to take profits . Coinbase just couldn’t keep riding Bitcoin’s coattails forever. The hype over spot Bitcoin ETFs and the Bitcoin halving event put Coinbase in the spotlight.

The halving of Bitcoin ( BTC-USD ) has typically been a precursor to some pretty extraordinary gains for the top cryptocurrency. Many investors and cryptocurrency traders have likely prepared. They have piled on ahead of the fourth halving event with the expectation that history will repeat itself. Following Friday’s halving, many new Bitcoin holders are sure to wonder when (and if) the big surge will happen. Some pundits are skeptical. They believe more big gains will be ahead post halving. Some are going as far to say the halving has already been baked in. Only time will tell. In any case, the Bitcoin halving has to be comforting to many investors weary of inflation’s impact on the dollar. Are you hopeful that Bitcoin can pull off yet another halving-induced rally? If so, the following crypto stocks are worthy of consideration for the next year and a half. Riot Platforms (RIOT) Source: T.
